Ingredients
1 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine cider vinegar, brown sugar, kosher salt, red pepper flakes, and cayenne pepper.
2. Stir until sugar and salt dissolve completely.
3. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 4 to 8 hours.
4. Shake or stir before serving. Refrigerate leftovers up to 3 weeks.
Notes
Use apple cider vinegar, not white vinegar, for a softer flavor.
